I least my eyebrows are still here.

Mission:
Mission 2 - "Drawing Deeply From The Well"
Location: Science Lab
Timeline: Just after meeting
Steven was in love. His love interest was not interested in hugs , candle lit dinners , cuddles and love poems. It was slightly warm but unresponsive. He was in love with dilithium crystals. But not just any. These were the ones from the Skyhook facility.
There was something about them that was so perfect. Despite the environment they grew in. Which really should not produce crystals of such purity. It had to be linked to the gas giant somehow. But at the moment Steven just could not see it.
They had still not been able to contact the Bunker Hill yet. For some reason she was on the far side of the galaxy. Which meant finding and contacting them a little tricky. But not impossible, it just took time. He needed to use that time wisely.
So Steven has been using that time. To get information on the crystal. Just in case the science officer of the Bunker Hill.Lieutenant Commander Nelia Yot had either not done her job properly or being a Tellarite. Lost her temper and after cutting the link. Refusing to answer anymore communication requests.
What he really needed was a full sample crystal. But as that was next to impossible. Until they reached Skyhook. In the corner of the lab Steven noticed a holo projection table. An idea crossed his mind. He could make a hologram of one. With the little information they had already from Bunker Hill. Plus the near to useless reports from the Starfleet core of Engineers. He could make a passable representation. It would be nothing like the real thing. You could not power a Star ship on one.
He fed in all the information they had. Then the table went dark. He tapped controls but nothing happened.
“ What are you doing Dave?” The holo tables computer said.
He was used to the computer sometimes spelling his name wrong. Stephen rather then Steven. But why was it calling him Dave?
“ HAL. Sorry computer run a diagnostic level 2 please on this holographic projection unit.” Steven said aloud.
“ Unable to comply.” The computer replied.
Steven should of stopped there. But he wanted to examine the crystal. So he gave the table a thump with his fist. There was a loud bang and he was thrown backwards.
Luckily the fire suppression system came on. So only the holographic projection unit was damaged and Edgeware’s pride. He shaking got to his feet.
“ Well. At least the department head won’t tell me off.....” he whimpered.
