Mission: Mission 1R - Vigilance Be Our Shield
Location: Deck 09, Medical Cargo Hold
Timeline: M1D1

On the USS Hornet, Doctor Hirsch had set about his orders. Sick Bay was soon to be receiving the last of its supply shipments. On Deck 09, the doctor cataloged and tagged the crates he would need access to once they departed the station.
Standard issue supplies and emergency kits for the inhabitants of the war-torn region of dispute were all stacked and locked down by Starbase personnel.

Checking the list as he went along, the music in the background played some relaxing Federation Pre-2000’s Era, Grunge Music. Doctor Hirsch was skiing in Mt. Tremblant in Quebec and had the chance to see live recreation era bands while on his vacation.

He felt a bit bad that Captain Koralova was stuck on the station biding her time. If he had known, he would have dropped by sooner to see if he could do anything. Calvin’s medical tricorder had beeped, letting him know he reached the desired crate of Vaccinations.

Any deployment required a complete exam of the crew. Hirsch was to provide ongoing identification and management of later emerging deployment health concerns such as injuries while deployed, illnesses, exposures to toxins.
=^= Doctor Hirsch to Captain Koralova and Commander Malloy. Ma’ams. As per usual orders, I request you both come to Sick Bay at your earliest opportunity. I need that post-deployment assessment. Please don’t end up having me track you down. It won’t be pleasant. =^= Hirsch had slightly grinned to himself.

=^= Thank you both, Ma'ams, Hirsch out. =^=

Post-deployment assessments were a menial task but an essential part of the process. Assessments help Starfleet Command take a snapshot, in time, of the health of the crew beforehand. Mission failure, disasters, and crew incidents all considered the Physicians set point of how healthy a crew member, members were when reviewed by Starfleet.
